Background: A large number of patients with heart failure have a maintained ejection fraction. It's difficult to tell the difference between heart failure with a reduced ejection fraction and heart failure with a preserved ejection fraction. The study's goals are as follows: BNP levels were measured in patients with heart failure who had a preserved LV ejection fraction as well as those who had a reduced LV ejection fraction.
