Background: Preeclampsia is a worldwide pregnancy complication, and one of the most important goals in obstetrics is to identify patients who are at an increased risk early. The exact cause of preeclampsia is unknown, but it is thought that a problem with early placentation is linked to the disorder's pathogenesis. With basal values of the biochemical markers related with the underlying placentation process, first trimester screening is critical over the second trimester for understanding the early beginning of the illness.
