Analysis of A Mathematical Model and Simulation of Chlamydia trachomatis in a Human Carrier| Chapter 12 | Current Topics on Mathematics and Computer Science Vol. 8

The dynamics of Chlamydia trachomatis infection in a human carrier are described in this work using a mathematical model. It has been suggested that protective immunity against Chlamydia is dominated by cell-mediated immunity rather than humoral immunity. The model had useful features like drug administration-assisted recuperation. Actual solutions were used to test the existence and uniqueness of model solutions. The model is subjected to local and global stability analysis. It is stable under certain conditions, according to the results. Analytically, the system of equations was solved using the parameter-expanding approach and direct integration. The findings are visually shown and explained. The impact of burst size per infected cell, rate of cell infection, and recovery rate owing to medication delivery has been discovered to be fairly significant.   Author (S) Details O. N.
