ZnO Doped Graphite Nanocomposite via Agathosma Betulina Natural Extract with Improved Bandgap and Electrical Conductivity: Experimental Investigation | Chapter 10 | New Visions in Science and Technology Vol. 1
For the first time, this contribution describes a green synthesised Zinc Oxide graphite doped (ZnO/G) material that was manufactured and subjected to UV lamp irradiation at 250 nm for four hours. The goal is to narrow the bandgap of the as-prepared composite in order to induce electrical characteristics. High resolution transmission electron microscopy (HRTEM) and X-ray diffraction (XRD) were used to examine the morphology and structure of ZnO and ZnO/G, respectively. The purity of ZnO nanoparticles is confirmed by the Energy Dispersive Spectroscopy (EDS), which is supported by the XPS spectra. Diffuse Reflectance Spectroscopy (DRS) of the irradiation composite with (I-V) chao demonstrates a decrease in bandgap and reflectance. Author (S) Details F. T.
