The Magnetic Electron Plasma Cloud (MEPC) is a plasma made entirely of electrons that serves as both a source and a destination for electrons that reside outside of the atom. The MEPC's outer cloud electrons apply equal negative pressure to electrons that enter the appropriate shell areas. This external negative pressure also acts as a containment pressure, keeping the electrons in their proper core shell positions. The implications are enormous, because it explains not only where electrons come from and how they are accessible for distribution around the atomic nucleus, but it also explains:

• What fills the void between the atoms?
• Why gravity is greater and weaker than the other known forces,
• What is the medium of light,
• Why light is both a particle and a wave, and
• What is dark matter and dark energy?
