Study on the Entropy Production of a Nonequilibrium Open System | Chapter 7 | Newest Updates in Physical Science Research Vol. 11
The goal of this research is to investigate a nonequilibrium open system in the context of a time-dependent projection operator, particularly its entropy production. Under the reaction from the open system, the open system's environment may linearly depart from its initial condition. The system's relevant statistical operator is set to be a generalised canonical one. The open system's transport equation, entropy production, and the second type of fluctuation-dissipation theorem are all deduced. In terms of correlation functions of fluctuations of random force and interaction random force of the open system, the memory function, influence function in the transport equation, and entropy generation rate are expressed.
