Study about Pleomorphic Lipoma- A Rare Pseudosarcomatous Lesion | Chapter 16 | New Horizons in Medicine and Medical Research Vol. 1
Pleomorphic lipoma is a rare benign tumour that can resemble a variety of malignant tumours, with liposarcoma being the most prevalent. This pseudosarcomatous lesion is a benign lipoma that is uncommon. This study describes two examples of this lesion, one on the thigh and the other on the back of the neck, as well as a synopsis of the main clinical and morphological features of this uncommon tumour. The initial study for diagnosis is FNAC, which is followed by histological confirmation.
